Lixx, aka Felicia, is a gaming female (they do exist). Geeky, open-minded and laid back, in short. My mind likes to reside in the gutter but I have a heart of gold. I enjoy games, kung fu movies, mythologies, photography, reading, nature and all animals.
One of the biggest compliments I ever got, was from a best friend's mom. My senior year of high school, every weekend I RP'd with a group of guys from the video game store I worked at. We usually did it at my friend's place, and his mom didnt trust most girls, so after 10, gals had to go if any were over...except me. After meeting me once, I usually stayed until 12-2 AM if not all night with the rest of the gang. She said "That's not a girl, thats Felicia, she's just one of the guys as far as I'm concerned." :3

If the content that follows offends anyone, I apologize. I am just fired up over this book that is being sold on Amazon.

For those who haven’t seen yet, there is a book called “The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure”. There is a big debate going on about it, in regards to the right to the freedom of speech.

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse that ended when I was 9, this turns my stomach. I’m now 31 and I will be dealing with the after effects of my abuse for the rest of my life. Myself and many others got robbed of our childhoods because of sick people who get their sexual satisfaction from children, which are NOT sexual objects. This affects us life long, compromising our livelihoods, relationships and even lives (many just commit suicide unable to bear the pain and shame.) The author wants understanding and lighter sentences, or to tell others how to get away with it? If it were up to the survivors, you wouldn’t be allowed to live. Abusers should thank the legal system for saving their pathetic lives.

Amazon should remove this. It’s only going to bring pain and anger, nothing beneficial can come of this. Some “freedom of speech” isn’t deserved. If you forfeit your right to being a decent human being, you forfeit your rights such as freedom of speech…

Now some have said that if this is censored then other “unpleasant” things in people’s opinions should be censored, such as books regarding gay relationships and gay sexual acts. The difference is gay people have a choice about what actions they do or choose not do.

Children do not. If they aren’t outright forced and raped by pedophiles, many pedo’s enjoy the mind games. My abuser didn’t force me with a gun, but he was a cop and he always told me if I told anyone I’d be taken away from my mom and family. They were my world and I didn’t know any better, and I was taught to trust officers so… So I did things he told me to. I laid there when he did other things to me. Ill spare you details. I did this for a long time until I had a nervous breakdown at the age of 9. I still have to deal with the memories almost everyday and I’m now 31. Intimate situations make me nervous, almost involuntarily, I constantly feel afraid and anxious.

My lifelong torment that i try to deal with daily was all because he just had to take advantage of me, my innocence. Making me forever feel tainted, not normal, spoiled; stuck dealing with it and relationships suffering because I’m afraid.

His punishment? 30 yrs in jail (max penalty i believe) and a tag that he has to carry…

I’m sorry, I can’t be accepting enough of the freedom of speech for something like this. There is zero benefit for it except for other abusers.  It’s not a matter of censoring something that we think is bad. It’s censoring something that IS bad, and illegal, and censoring it will protect those who in this case cannot protect themselves.

I can understand people’s stances on freedom of speech, but there is a time when wrong is wrong, regardless of trying to follow things to the letter.

This is one of those times I don’t see how anything that this book offers benefits anyone of worth. The only people who SHOULD get upset at it’s censorship, are the people guilty of needing/enjoying it.

Thanks for letting me get this out, I am just so fired up. Sorry if its kinda jumbled, I’m just writing from my emotions. Also, if you know someone who has been abused, best advice I can tell you is just be there for them when they need you. We may not always know why we are upset, and if you ask us why, we cannot give you a definite reason, but just knowing someone cares helps us get through things one day at a time.

International Day of Peace

According to, today is the International Day of Peace or World Peace Day as it is also known.

“It occurs annually on September 21. It is dedicated to peace, or specifically the absence of war, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone. It is observed by many nations, political groups, military groups, and peoples. The first year this holiday was celebrated was 1981.

To inaugurate the day, the “Peace Bell” is rung at UN Headquarters. The bell is cast from coins donated by children from all continents. It was given as a gift by the Diet of Japan, and is referred to as “a reminder of the human cost of war.” The inscription on its side reads: “Long live absolute world peace.”

There are so many conflicts out there in the world, and even in our daily lives these days. I myself have a horrible daily meeting with road rage. My tolerance is low for idiots. But, seeing today is to be a peaceful day, I am going to do my best not to get aggrevated by people on the road. I am going to look at any grudges or arguements I may be holding inside, and I am going to see if they are worth continuing to hold on to, or if I can resolve anything in a peaceful manner. As you go about your day today, try to keep this in your head when you get upset at someone/something. Try to keep peace in mind today. Even if it is only one day that people can make peace happen, its better than none, and it is a start.

I’m not really a hippy, but I guess in many ways I am because I really do want world peace and I love nature…I’m going to go hug some trees now, and maybe some people too. 😉

My Monday Rant

I’m kind of annoyed by the news and politics. Both are once again trying to portay witchcraft as evil. I’m not a political person, nor really a religious person. My beliefs only matter to me, none other, but I do get irritated at people’s ignorance. I’m very tired of bible-thumpers. But I’m also just tired of prejudice and ignorance towards things/people that are different. That’s the ultimate rant here, though witchcraft spawned it.

Below is a snippit of what got me annoyed and then I posted a comment on the article that I’ll post below this snippit:

“O’Donnell’s comments about witchcraft were made during a 1999 taping of comedian Bill Maher’s “Politically Incorrect” show.

“I dabbled into witchcraft. I never joined a coven,” she said on the show, a clip of which hit the Internet as O’Donnell canceled Sunday appearances on two national news shows, citing commitments to attend church and the GOP picnic in Delaware. (she’s a conservative Christian)

“I hung around people who were doing these things. I’m not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do,” O’Donnell told Maher.

“One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn’t know it. I mean, there’s little blood there and stuff like that,” she said. “We went to a movie and then had a little midnight picnic on a satanic altar.”

My response to the article:

I love how witchcraft is being spun as yet again an “evil” practice. The ignorance of people really gets me steamed. Learn before you speak about that which you do not know. Just as with any religion, there are good and bad sides to it. There is a balance to everything. There is not white or black, light or dark, there is always both. Stop being ignorant. Instead of fearing the unknown, learn about it, and lose the fear. Knowledge is power. Most pagans or those who dabble in witchcraft are peaceful peoples, there is never sacrifice or blood used in rituals. Only herbs, water, and whatever the earth can provide. Keyword here is most, not all. But there are still always 2 sides to every story. Please educate yourselves out there, stop shunning those who are different, just because you are afraid. If you can open your hearts (and minds) up to those out there in the world, you’ll find it’s quite amazing and there are many amazing, beautiful people out there that you are missing out on.
